About HomeCall
Why we built it and how it helps baseball fans.
HomeCall lets you hear your team's local radio broadcast while watching a nationally televised game — automatically synced to your TV so there's no echo, no lag, and no missing the moment. Open the app, pick a game, choose your crew, and listen to the voices you actually want to hear.
The problem
National TV broadcasts bury the local announcers fans know and love. Switching to the radio means a delay — the play-by-play runs ahead of the picture, and you hear what happens before you see it. It's unwatchable, so most fans give up and settle for the national crew they didn't ask for.
The solution
HomeCall listens to your TV through your device's microphone, measures the gap between the radio and the broadcast, and delays the radio feed to match. You get your hometown crew, in sync with the screen, with nothing to configure but a single tap to calibrate.
Who it's for
Every baseball fan who'd rather hear the voices they grew up with — the hometown color, the familiar cadence, the announcers who actually know the team. Whether you follow one club or all thirty, HomeCall puts the local broadcast back in your living room for every nationally aired game.
Who builds it
HomeCall is built by a small, independent team of baseball fans and audio engineers who got tired of national broadcasts drowning out the announcers they grew up with. We're not affiliated with any team or league — we're fans building for fans, with a focus on a simple, reliable way to put the hometown crew back on every device, for every game.
